The only way you can have an outdoor ceremony is if you've rented a venue that has an indoor option in case of rain. I got married outside on a windy rainy day and it was clear for our ceremony and receiving line, but if it rained we would have seated the guests inside instead. In your case it's not wise to use that garden unless there's an indoor option in the immediate area in case of rain. You won't have time on the day of the wedding to call all your guests and divert them to the reception hall in case of rain, they'll all be en route to the ceremony address you gave them.
