Should I be angry at my boyfriend right now?

Today is my birthday. My boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for 2 years. He didn't get me anything, he didn't even mail me anything. Is it too much to hope for a bouquet of flowers since I can't see him? When we talked on the phone all he did was talk about his day and then said happy birthday once and blew it off like the day had already ended. I'm just so hurt. We're both 22 and you'd think that he would have some more imagination, esp since we've been together for so long. I'm really hurt by this.
