Yes. Now decide what goes into the rest of the story and what to include, and write it all down. Don't take the time to perfect it, just outline or list it, going back to narrative as the mood hits. I say this because most folks tend to get stuck on what to say, but the important thing is to get it down first, then fine tune. Otherwise what starts out bursting with potential gets set aside, and by the time you pick it up again, you're no longer the same person who wanted to write that particular story.
