Ferrett suddenly started showing narcolepsy-like symptoms.?

about three weeks ago my Ferrett, Georgie, started falling asleep at random times while doing simple everyday things, like walking up her ramp to her bed, and climbing out of her cage, and she even falls asleep while eating. I am curious to know if anyone has any valid diagnoses, and any ideas on how to fix them. Also, I would take her to the vet, but i cant afford the bill.
